The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry just released its latest annual "Global Music Report," Among the various numbers in the report, it also contains a very interesting country-by-country list of best selling songs and albums.
And for South Korea, 2016 had many super-popular songs and albums by numerous artists, but according to the report the most popular K-pop song in 2016 is none other than TWICE's "Cheer Up"!

TWICE's popularity continuing to grow at a super-fast rate around the world, it will be interesting to see what next year's "Global Music Report" will have to say about South Korea's 2017 popular song.
