Kim Soon Ja, also Korea’s first kimchi master talks about South Korea's national dish KIMCHI . Everyone in South Korea loves Kimchi but it is made up of Garlic as one of its main ingredients sometimes the pungent odor from it that spoils the tasty dish ignored by many foreigners.
So she went to work on a novel culinary concept that in this country was about as revolutionary as the seedless watermelon, wanted to take the funky odor out of her beloved kimchi.
She worked with several Food experts and came up with a new type of freezed and dried pickled cabbage that doesn't smell even after water is added, appealing to foreigners too.By creating a more foreigner-friendly kimchi, Korea is hoping to help spread Korean food and culture all across the world.
She also says , her own kimchi factory since 1986, isn't stopping with freeze-dried cabbage, the concept can be used in beer and wine, and for making such snacks as dried kimchi dipped in chocolate.
"Crispy but yummy,Also, it's full of fiber."
