Kimchi expert from South Korea has created foreigner-friendly Kimchi

Kim Soon Ja, also Korea’s first kimchi master talks about South Korea's national dish KIMCHI . Everyone in South Korea loves Kimchi but it is made up of Garlic as one of its main ingredients sometimes the pungent odor from it that spoils the tasty dish ignored by many foreigners.

So she went to work on a novel culinary concept that in this country was about as revolutionary as the seedless watermelon, wanted to take the funky odor out of her beloved kimchi.


                                       

She worked with several Food experts and came up with a new type of freezed and dried pickled cabbage that doesn't smell even after water is added, appealing to foreigners too.By creating a more foreigner-friendly kimchi, Korea is hoping to help spread Korean food and culture all across the world.

                                  

She also says , her own kimchi factory since 1986, isn't stopping with freeze-dried cabbage, the concept can be used in beer and wine, and for making such snacks as dried kimchi dipped in chocolate.

"Crispy but yummy,Also, it's full of fiber."

And now Korean Foodies can get ready to taste the odorless delicious Kimchi!

South Korea might soon to get Hyperloop transport technology

Hyperloop is a mode of passenger and freight transportation that would propel a pod-like vehicle through a reduced-pressure tube that could potentially exceed airliner speeds. The alpha version of the proposal, published on the SpaceX website, describes the system, as well as its function. The pods would accelerate to cruising speed gradually using a linear electric motor and glide above their track using passive magnetic levitation or air bearings. The tubes could also go above ground on columns or underground, eliminating the dangers of grade crossings. It is hoped that the system will be highly energy-efficient, quiet, and autonomous.


                                        


Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT), one of the firms developing Elon Musk's vision of ultra-speed travel through tubes, has signed its first commercial deal to license its technology to South Korea, making the Asian country potentially one of the first to get the futuristic system.

Earlier this year, the South Korean government along with academic institutions announced plans to create a Hyperloop train called the Hyper Tube Express (HTX). It would travel at around 620 miles per hour, meaning the roughly 200 mile journey from Seoul to Busan would take 20 minutes. The aim is to connect the HTX to many major cities in South Korea.Last year, HTT showed off the magnetic technology that would propel the pods forward. And this year, the company is developing the passenger pod which is set to be revealed in 2018.

Currently the company that is bringing the Hyperloop to the UAE has just released never-seen-before images of its development site, a journey from Dubai to Abu Dhabi will take only 12 minutes.



                            

South koreans are getting ready for Anti-Dog meat Campaign

For the older generations in South Korea dog meat is usually consumed during the summer months as it is believed to help cool one’s body down.

Moran Market is a lucrative marketplace for dealers, and usually sells 80,000 dogs a year.


In recent years, South Korea has been facing increasingly pressure from activists, who have been promoting  to boycott the coming 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics if the country refuses to act against such meat consumption.

In June 2016 according to a statistical report from 2005 to 2014, the number of such meat restaurants in Korea has dropped from 520 to 329.

According to the reports , Organized by activists from the Korean Animal Welfare Association and Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth (CARE), a big event will be held to campaign against the consumption of dog meat on July 9 2017. It is expected to take place at Seoul Plaza in front of City Hall.

The event is seen deliberately scheduled right before the Chobok (July 14). Based on the lunar calendar, Chobok is the first day of the three hottest days of the year.
